The vine growing and wine producing “Cascina Bruni” properties are situated in Piedmont. The great care of the vineyards and the traditional techniques of wine growing, allow a high quality standard of our product; the following wines stand out among them: Barolo, Barbaresco Reserve, Nebbiolo of Alba, Dolcetto of Alba, Barbera of Alba, Barbera of Asti, Gavi del Comune

di Gavi, Arneis, Muscat of Asti, Spumante Brut and, the last but not the least, the most classic one: our Barolo Chinato. And the last-born, the Novello (young wine) of “Villa Lisa” and the Villa Lisa Rosè (Monferrato Chiaretto).

The Veglio family, owner of the “Cascina Bruni” winery for over 100 years, produces, makes and ages his wines, keeping from generation to generation his own philosophy of production. This goes from the limited production of the vineyards to the wine-making and to the ageing which are made separately, vineyard per vineyard, careful to report the vineyard of origin on the label. The ageing of Barolo and Barbaresco takes place in big Slavonic, German, French oak casks and chestnut-wood casks for 2/5 years; while the Dolcetto of Alba and the Muscat of Asti and the other White wines arrive on the market when young. Our Barbera of Alba, our Barbera of Asti and our Nebbiolo of Alba deserve a special remark because these wines are refined in Slavonic oak casks for 6 to 12 months in order to bring out their unique qualities. The Novello wine is obtaind from the Carbonic Maceration of Barbera grapes and the Dolcetto is a young and elegant wine for every day. The Rosé of Villa Lisa is of a slight ruby red colour and is perfect as appetizer. The Spumante Brut, goes through a particular making, according to the Classic method, for three years, starting from selected Cortese of Gavi grapes.
